CG Cement place order for vertical roll mill

Chaudhary Group Cement (CGC) has placed an order with Germany-based Loesche for a vertical roller mill at its cement plant in the Palpa region of central Nepal. The order, which was placed through KHD, will see the installation of a 50tph Loesche LM 26.3 D coal mill, scheduled to enter operation by 2018. The new CGC plant has a clinker capacity of 3900tpd. It will extract limestone from a nearby mine.

CG invests in Nepalese plants

Nepal´s leading business conglomerate Chaudhary Group (CG) is investing NPR10bn (US$101m) on cement plants in Dumkibas of Nawalparasi and Palpa. The CG brand of cement produced at the Dumkibas-based plant has already hit the market. The factory produces 1300tpd. Similarly, CG is also setting up both clinker and cement plants in Palpa with an investment of NPR7.5bn in the Palpa plants.

Chaudhary Group launches production at new Nepal plant

The Chaudhary Group (CG) has started production from a new 1500tpd plant in Nepal. Barun Chaudhary, director of CG, said the new Chinese-built plant can produce 250tpd of OPC and 1350tpd of PPC. The group plans to formally launch CG OPC next week, while CG PPC will follow a month later. “We have identified places between Janakpur in the east to Darchula in the west as our potential market,” Chaudhary told Republica news.  Though CG Cement is procuring clinker from Nepali producer at...
